1st Annual Golden Pen Contest Poland-USA Promotion Announcing the 1st Annual Golden Pen Contest, for the most inspired text written on the theme of What do I think of, when I hear the word Poland? We anticipate that the texts will reflect various walks of life. The text should be 1-3 pages long (photos may be included). They may be submitted in either English or Polish. Texts signed with a pseudonym should be sent in a sealed envelope, on paper along with either a 3.5” floppy or on a CD. Please remember to include your return address and your phone number. There will be three prizes for the best submitted works to the contest. The Organizer reserves the right to publish the winning works, and that will be an added bonus to the winner. Please submit your works no later than September 1, 2005. The winners will be announced on October 4, 2005 at the National Arts Club in Manhattan during the Polish Day observance. The winners will be contacted by mail, by e-mail, or by phone.
